  • Refrigerator Storage: Most berries, leafy greens, and carrots prefer the chill of the fridge. Store them in the crisper drawer for optimal freshness.
  • Ethylene Producers: Some fruits like apples and avocados release ethylene gas, which can speed up ripening. Store them separately from ethylene-sensitive produce like leafy greens.
