What strategies do you use to cope with negative feelings?

When I want to cope with negative feelings I use a journal and write about what I would do if I didn’t cope with them. That gives me a finality that I would want in life that wouldn’t put me in jail and keeps my mind at ease. On paper you can say what you want. That’s a great release for me that really makes me happy.
